A Pioneer and Leader in Japan’s Tomato Business

Founded in 1899 by Ichitaro Kanie who first began cultivating tomatoes in Japan. Not long after this achievement, KAGOME launched tomato juice for the first time in Japan in 1933. We have been in the tomato business for more than 120 years. KAGOME has been committed to develop and produce vegetable & fruit drinks. We have also advocated the “drinking vegetables” lifestyle to solve the problem of insufficient vegetable intake. With the successive launch of tomato juice, Yasai Seikatsu 100 and vegetable mixed juice in Japan, our products have supported the health and enjoyment to people for many years.

Not only did we pioneer tomato processing in Japan, today we are the country’s undisputed industry leader in this sector. KAGOME is the No.1 brand in vegetable & fruit mixed juice, tomato juice and tomato ketchup category in Japan#.
